The Dorigo vineyards are located in the municipalities of
Buttrio and Premariacco, in the heart of the Colli
Orientali del Friuli DOC zone, at 200 metres above sea
level. All the vines stand in hillslope positions on marly
soil. It is a special type of soil, peculiar to Friuli,
which has a low nutrient content and poor water retention.
This makes it ideal for growing high-quality grapes.

La Viarte extends over a total surface area of 35 hectares
at an average height of 150 metres above sea level. The
superb east-facing hill slopes are located in the districts
of Prepotto and Corno di Rosazzo, just a few hundred meters
from the Sloven border. There are 21 hectares under vines
at La Viarte.

Nomen omen, the romans said the name was a good prediction.
It is not by chance the name of the first Bishop of Aquilea
was Ermacora, and the ancient romans built that rare bridge
on the Natisone river which today still takes you to the
village of Ipplis, an area that dates back to the Lombards
and through land and tradition links the Dario and Luciano
Ermacora wine-farm.
The hilly DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli enjoy a
micro-climate, ideal for high quality vine-growing. A toast
is necessary to open the doors of our wine cellar.

Lis Neris is located in the centre of the most famous
viticultural area of Friuli, in San Lorenzo village,
between the Slovenian border in the North and the right
bank of the Isonzo river in the South.
More than 50 hectares of vineyards are planted in the most
beautiful part of a small plateau of calcareous gravel,
that has been dragged down by water after the glaciers of
the Oriental Alps melted during the Quaternary period.
The climate favours a slow maturation, with the result to
get more solid and better balanced grapes with valuable
flavours and tastes.
